Stephanette Isabel Smith is a freelance lighting designer and electrician.  Since receiving her MFA from Illinois State University in 2006, she has been based mainly in Chicago. Her previous ICT credits include The Grapes of Wrath, Keely and Du and The Homage That Follows.  She has also designed in the city for Remy Bumppo (thinkTank). Out of town companies include Festival 56 (Princeton, IL), Heartland Theatre Company, (Normal, IL) Playhouse on the Square, (Memphis, TN). She is most often seen at Northlight Theatre in Skokie, where she is the Master Electrician.  She can also be seen weaving through traffic on her black Marin mountain bike.
